Welcome to Ellipsix Programming!

This list includes both current and future projects of Ellipsix Programming. The latest status information on all program offerings can always be found here.
 Program Manager
An installer and package manager for downloadable Ellipsix programs. This is not necessary to run any other program, but it is provided as a convenience.
The current version is 1.1, as of October 19, 2004. Requires Java version 1.5 or better.
  Spectrata
A frequency domain sound editor, with the ability to trasform between images and spectra.
The current version is 0.1a, as of May 15, 2007. The next version is 0.1b; no expected release date has been set. Requires Java version 1.6 or better.
 Crest
A web server with a graphical interface for configuration. Perfect for anyone who doesn't want to mess around with Apache config files (like me ;-).
The current version is 1.0. The next version is 2.0; no expected release date has been set. Requires Java version 1.5 or better.
 Ellipsix PHP Doclet
A full-featured API for creating modular doclets to use with the Javadoc tool. This also includes the Ellipsix PHP doclet, the implementation used to generate the Javadoc on the Ellipsix website.
The current version is 0.1b, as of August 4, 2006. Requires Java version 1.5 or better.
 KPasswordGenerator
A small KDE panel applet that can generate random passwords as desired.
The current version is 0.1, as of September 17, 2006. The next version is 0.2a; no expected release date has been set. Requires KDE version 3.5 or better.
 LogViewer
A lightweight viewer application for Java XML-formatted log files. Only really useful to programmers, but it's a great help.
Requires Java version 1.5 or better.
 Symbolite
A program for symbolic manipulation of mathematical quantities - the equivalent of a fancy calculator on the computer.
 TextWriter
A web application for rendering text in a selected font into an image.
The current version is 0.4.1, as of December 24, 2005.
 VectorNet
A whiteboard program to be run across the network. It's effectively an instant messenger/chat program that can transmit graphics.
The next version is 0.0a; no expected release date has been set. Requires Java version 1.5 or better.
 WordWeb
A multi-lingual translation dictionary framework, including databases for English and Irish. Other languages may be in the works.
The current version is 0.3, as of June 2, 2005. The next version is 0.4; no expected release date has been set.
