Help test the new version of TextWriter! Version 0.5 is completely rewritten and should be snazzier, easier to use, and more efficient. You will need a modern Javascript-enabled browser to use the alpha version.

TextWriter is a small web application which will display a short string of the user's choice with any of various font and graphic attributes. The application was designed to allow people to render an occasional text with a font that is not available on their system, which they may not have the time, expertise, or desire to install. In addition to fonts, the script can customize text size, style (bold or italic), and the foreground and background colors.

As with all Ellipsix projects, there is plenty of room in TextWriter to grow according to user preferences. If you'd like to see a new feature, whether as simple as another font or as complex as an image space transform, just send an email to contact@ellipsix.net.
